Woltman Trophies and Awards was founded in June 1960 on two shelves in the back of my grandfather's jewelry store.

In 1964, Rich Woltman Sr. moved the business into a 2,500 square foot building near the North St. Louis city line. As the business grew the whole family worked in the business and employees were added. In 1969, the business moved again this time into part of a larger 5,000 square foot building in Bridgeton, Missouri.

Woltman Trophies and Awards has always been in the forefront of introducing new technology into the awards industry. In the mid-60s we were among the first to use the new Automark typewriter engraving machine for trophies. In 1982, we were one of the first to move to a computer controlled engraving system.

In 1985, Rick Woltman rejoined the company. Rick's previous experience was in finance and computers. The computer knowledge came in handy when we purchased our first sublimation machine in 1985 which enabled us to add corporate logos to plaques without costly engraving templates. In 1991, we were early users of laser engraving and glass sandblasting.

We have continued to expand our product line and production capabilities with state of the art equipment currently utilizing three laser engravers, two computer engravers, a new computerized router and digital process printing up to 17" x 22".

In December of 2004, we moved from our home of the last 30 years to a new location occupying 7,000 square feet with expansion plans to fill the 17,000 square foot building. We have designed our new space from the layout of the machinery to the location of our product to make us more efficient for our customers.

Now the third generation to follow our original motto "Innovation at affordable prices and a level of service that is unexpected".
